11 Year Old Boy's Dying Wish to Feed the Homeless

We could use a few more people like this young man. He is an inspiration to some, an angel to others.

I'm sure he's already an angel right now! Such a beautiful story.

I haven't been moved to tears in a long long time. This is a true act of selflessness that is very rare but appreciated and empowering in this day and age. God Bless to the family and most of all to Brendan.

I am 39 and I wish that I had an ounce of the love and courage that this great young man has. God will take care of him and his family. Love is the answer he found it.

No words to express how his story touched my heart. I saw a true hero in such a young boy--his strength and courage alone should make us all look around to see what can be done to those around us who need an angel like him to remind us the true meaning of "give unto others" may God bless his family and ease the pain of their loss as he was called home... I am blessed.Pass it on

Things don't always get to me, but I was in tears as soon as I heard this. Tonight, I was at Publix (a grocery store) and they had food baskets for the those less fortunate. I bought the biggest one they had in rememberence of Brenden. Sadly, it took an 11 year old to help me reprioritize my life a bit.

An 11 year old honorable man indeed.

He has more courage than I do and I'm twice his age and this goes to show why Jesus' words are true that children are the greatest in heaven.

I hope that his family get thru this loss.
